Keto Bread Rolls

I love these rolls! They combine the perfect ingredients to keep those blood sugar levels balanced and to stop that horrible blood sugar rollercoaster.

Dry Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup almond flower (tightly packed)

  • 2 tbsps psyllium husk powder

  • 1 tsp baking powder (bicarbonate soda)

  • 1 tsp black sesame seeds

  • 1 tsp white sesame seeds

  • 2 tsps sunflower seeds

  • 1 tsp chia seeds

  • 1/2 tsp Himalayan salt

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

Wet Ingredients:

  • 1 egg

  • 2 egg whites

  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

  • 3 tbsps of melted coconut oil, ghee or butter

  • 4 tbsps boiling water

Instructions:

  • Preheat over to 180C/350F.

  • In a bowl mix dry ingredients.  In a separate bowl, mix wet ingredients.

  • Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and mix well.

  • Slowly pour in boiling water and continue mixing.  The dough will be quite thick and expand as it absorbs the water.

  • Divide the dough into five and form 5 balls with your hands.

  • Place the balls on parchment paper and bake for 30 minutes.  

  • Let them cool slightly before eating.
